Mountain School

Our Mountaineering School is the most comprehensive way to build the skills, confidence, and judgment needed for safe, independent travel in the alpine. Over the course of five immersive days, you’ll learn essential techniques including glacier travel, crevasse rescue, snow climbing, navigation, camp craft, and movement skills on steep terrain. With plenty of hands‑on practice and expert instruction, you’ll develop the competence to tackle glaciated peaks and more ambitious mountaineering objectives.
This program is designed for climbers who want a deep, structured learning experience in a supportive environment. Your guide teaches at your pace, ensuring you have time to absorb skills and apply them in real mountain conditions. By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a solid foundation in modern mountaineering techniques and the confidence to pursue climbs like Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, and other classic alpine summits. This also includes a summit attempt on Mt Baker.
