Refund Policy
1. Payment Requirements
All trips must be paid in full prior to departure. Your reservation is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
Because mountaineering trips require advance planning, guide scheduling, and reserved dates, the following refund terms apply:
• Cancellations made 60 days or more before the trip:
Eligible for a 50% refund of the total trip cost.
• Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trip: No refund is available.
3. Weather Policy
Trips will not be canceled due to weather.
Mountain conditions can change rapidly, and part of the guiding process is adapting to those conditions. If the planned objective becomes unsafe or unreasonable due to weather, guides will:
• Adjust the itinerary
• Choose an alternative route
• Provide a different mountain objective or activity of similar value
This ensures your trip remains productive, safe, and worthwhile.
4. Trip Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase trip insurance.
This protects you in situations such as:
• Unexpected work obligations
• Family emergencies
• Illness or injury prior to the trip
• Travel delays or cancellations
• Personal schedule changes
Trip insurance helps ensure you are financially protected if something prevents you from participating.
5. Cancellations by the Guide Service
If we must cancel a trip for operational or safety reasons unrelated to weather, clients will receive:
• A full refund, or
• The option to reschedule to a future date
