Intro to Trad Climbing

Our Intro to Trad Climbing Course is designed for climbers who want to take the next step beyond sport climbing and learn how to place their own protection. Over the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of traditional gear placements, anchor building, crack‑climbing movement, route assessment, and risk management. With hands‑on practice and expert guidance, you’ll build the confidence and technical foundation needed to begin leading or seconding trad routes safely.
We teach at your pace, ensuring you have the time and support to understand each system and refine your placements before applying them on real climbs. With flexible scheduling and personalized instruction, this course gives you the skills to start exploring classic trad routes and continue progressing toward bigger alpine and multi‑pitch objectives.
